Escherichia Genomics. our laboratory inviting application from biotechnology/
microbiology/ medical microbiology/ botany/ zoology/ life sciences
faculty/professionals and students of govt./ NGO and /or private professionals for
their Training on Molecular Biology , DNA Fingerprinting and DNA Barcoding with
us. Training will be four week time periods and trainee needs to pay their
minor charges of consumable and infrastructure use.

Specific Theme of Training /
Research work: Molecular Biology, Molecular Marker. DNA Fingerprinting, DNA
Barcoding, Forensic, DNA Diagnostics, Molecular microbe identification, DNA
Sequencing, phylogenetic, and applied application based techniques.
Training Theme
1. General Laboratory
Experiment : (Hands on) : DNA isolation from
plant, bacteria, yeast, fungi , animal tissue (heart, kidney, lever, and blood
etc), quantification and quality check of isolated DNA, DNA dilution, PCR
amplification of DNA using multiplex primers, PCR amplification of DNA using
random 10mer primers for RAPD, PCR amplification of DNA using SSR primers,
micro satellite analysis and STR primer for DNA fingerprinting, separation
following by electrophoresis, data capturing, data analysis and DNA fingerprint
development.
2. Animals DNA
Fingerprinting and Identification: Laboratory experiments (Hands on): DNA isolation from animal blood,
quantification and quality check of isolated DNA, DNA dilution, PCR
amplification of DNA using multiplex primers, fragment (allele) separation
following electrophoresis, data capturing, data analysis and DNA fingerprint
development
3. DNA fingerprinting ofplants (microsatellite Marker-Hands on)
: Isolation of DNA, quantification and quality check of isolated DNA, DNA
dilution, PCR amplification of DNA using random 10 mer primers for RAPD,
PCR amplification of DNA using SSR/ISSR/STR primers for microsatellite
analysis, agarose gel electrophoresis of PCR products for RAPD, allele
separation following electrophoresis for microsatellite, data collection, data
analysis, and DNA fingerprint development.
4. DNA barcoding of animals usingCytochrome C Oxidase subunit I (COI):
Laboratory experiments (Hands on): DNA isolation, quantification and quality
check of the isolated DNA, DNA dilution, PCR amplification of DNA using COI
primers, agarose gel electrophoresis of PCR products, gel elution of PCR
products, sequencing of PCR products and sequence data analysis and barcode
generation.
5. Forensic andDiagnostics Molecular Biology:
Human and diagnostics -disease diagnostics, heritable disease diagnostics,
cancer diagnostics, pathogen diagnostics, parental diagnostic and mass disaster
of natural calamities and army causality.
6. DNA Fingerprinting: Methods and protocols used in DNA fingerprinting of human,
DNA fingerprinting of animals, DNA fingerprinting of fishes, DNA fingerprinting
of plant, DNA fingerprinting of fungi, bacteria, and yeast etc. Implication and
issues with techniques.
7. DNA Bar-coding: Methods used in human DNA barcoding, animal DNA barcoding,
insect DNA barcoding, fish DNA barcoding and microorganism DNA barcoding, plant
DNA barcoding, implication and issues with techniques etc.
8. Molecular MarkerTechnology: SSR, ISSR, RAPD, STR, molecular
marker assisted selection, molecular breeding, cultivar development, molecular
mapping, gene mapping, genetic structure analysis, molecular marker
development.
9. DNA Fingerprinting Software
and Biostatistics Analysis: DNA
fingerprinting profile regeneration, DNA barcoding, diversity matrix
development, phylogenetic tree development, allele frequency, private allele,
banding pattern, heterozygosis, primer discriminatory power test, and molecular
biostatistics analysis (UPGMA, AMOVA, PCA, Njoin etc.
Type of program: Intensive training program with hands on.
Our Facilities: Bulk genomic DNA isolation Facilitity, bulk RNA isolation
Facility, bulk level Protein isolation facilities, PCR Facility,
Electrophoresis mega X5unite, DNA Sequencer , Gel doc system, Trans-illuminator
, UV-Torch , SDS Page Facility, Centrifuge (0 to 4˚C) oven (ambient Temp) and
microwave facility ,vertex, hotplate, magnetic starrer, balance, ph meter,
Computer facility and other basic infrastructure for molecular biology
laboratories facility including Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology Software, Phylogenetic
Software etc..
Fee:
1. Indian Candidate: INR 8000/per student and INR 9000/per faculty and other.
2. Foreign Candidate: USD 500/per student and INR 550/per faculty and other.
